I read that the absorbtion of zinc is blocked by calcium. Therefore, taking ZMA at the same time as a pre-bed whey or calcium caseinate supplement reduces the absorbtion of the zinc. As calcium caseinate is absorbed slowly over a number of hours, it would seem unwise to take ZMA even 2 hrs after CC. How effectively would ZMA influence sleep if taken 2 hrs before CC?

Take the ZMA 30 to 60 mins before bed.

If you’re having a slow digesting meal then have this right before bed.

I suspect that casein would interfere with the rapid absorption of almost anything taken after it based on it’s physical properties and irrespective of any micro-nutrient reactions.

Why not do it and see, if it doesnt seem to work after testing it a couple of times to make sure, add another tablet, until it does.

The only thing is that interfering with the bodies mineral intake is not something that is good for you, so I whould lean toward less is best, rather than more. DA
