    Pic of myself. Been training my arse off now since Feb, getting well defined, but I want to pack on more size so for the last 4weeks now I’ve been supplementing with alot of stuff, spending a fortune too! Here’s a list;

    -Kre-Alkalyn (pH-Correct Creatine), 2 pills before workout.
    -Ster#One; stack includes; Ecdysterone 200mg, Methoxy-Isoflavone 400mg, Tribulus 1000mg, Zinc 30mg, Magnesium 450mg, Phosphatidylserine 800mg, Copper 5mg, B6 10.5 mg. 2 pills before workout.
-Horleys ICE WHeY, (my fiance’s favourite, at night sleeping under the dunna blanket when a silent warm gas seems to keep leaking out. hehe) 1 scoop with low fat milk.
-Pure Carbs, 1 scoop before and after a workout.
-Tribulus 20000mg, 2 pills before a workout, but stopped taking it now, the stuffs to potent, and apparently not very good for you too.

Am getting good gains in strength with all these supps, but am looking to put on more size. Hopefully all the money spent on these supps, patience and alot of hard work at the gym will pay off.

Thanks man, (wouldn’t mind those monster legs of
yours!) I’m just looking for something to get me over that plateau that I’ve been stuck on in my training, and it seems to be working, am getting incredible strength gains, and seem to be getting alot more energy. I will post more pics in
    6-8weeks, to see any difference.

No, that’s a sales pitch for snake oil, er, I guess that should be bug oil ๐Ÿ˜‰

It probably is Dr J, though its worth giving it a try. Anything to pack on size naturally. And if it only gives you that little bit extra to train harder and recover quicker, why not?

You seem to know what your talking about Dr J, you know your supplements back to front and these sites do have a tendency to say anything to sell their products, so maybe you can give me some fairdinkim advice on a few supps.
What do think of ‘ZMA’ the zinc/magnesium/B6 supp?
And whats your take on methoxyisoflavone and Tribulus? Because they reccomend you take approx. 1000mg per day of tribulus. My mates and I have taken 40,000mg-60,000mg per day and we got some serious strength gains!
Lastly Kre-Alkalyn, you tried it? Or you think this is also a sales pitch? I was a bit skeptical at first, I thought how could 1500mg per day be enough compared to loading up with shit loads of normal creatine, but this stuff is awsome especially when you drink pure carbs 15mins after it.
    Cheers Dr J.

First up, JU, I think you’re selling yourself short for attributing so much to supps. You’ve done an awesome job and the only thing that’s going to make a substantial difference to your own hard work and diligence in dieting are real ASs and not wannabe AS supplements.

Damn, got to go. To be continued am …

You look naturally a very lean guy. If you want to do this naturally you will have to get some fat on those bones ๐Ÿ˜‰

I don’t have a problem with ZMA although the BALCO shit-fight has made me a little more suspicious.

40 to 60g per day of tribulus ๐Ÿ˜ฎ You’re kidding right! Not much in the way of research to support tribulus for muscle gains but it certainly seems to have an effect. More than a gram per day makes me way aggro.

    Yes โ—

They’ve taken the same approach as a certain serum creatine manufacturer in attacking plain old creatine monohydrate and claiming it’s useless. I guess that a boat-load of peer reveiwed studies must be wrong and their unsupported claims are correct.

And I’ve had guys claim serum creatine is the best thing since sliced bread but research shows that there’s no creatine present and that it does not even come close to matching the effects of plain old creatine monohydrate.

Whats this BALCO shit fight you talk about?

    September 29, 2005 at 10:49 pm #1461

Start here or google ‘victor conte’.

Conte has done a deal with prosecutors and sentencing will be anounced in October.

I’ve noticed you haven’t included X-factor in with you supplementation Juiced up, whats up with that? Forget about about Ecdy and Methoxy, theres no scientific evidence that supports it’s claims. And it’s expensive too… Otherwise keep it up, you have a nice physique!

Just discovered X-Factor, when I subscribed to William Llewellyn’s Body Of Science magazine, I saw it advertised there. No one’s heard of it here, or at least haven’t come across anyone discusing it. I have gotten excited about about supps before niavely believing there outragous claims of being the biggest supplement breakthrough’s! I am a little more cautious now and unless, like you say Anabolic Jim, a product can legitimately stake it’s claim based on solid, real science, I will remain a skeptic of those products.
I just oredered my 50day cycle of X-Factor should be here in a couple of weeks.
