    Hey guys,

Can anyone please suggest several places in Sydney which offer services that teach o-lifts(accredited). Preferably in the eastern suburbs, but i don;t mind to travel. Please do not direct me to bs personal trainers or fitnessfirst facilities/any other bs commercial gym.

    Thanks in advance.

Try calling the gym at UNSW and asking them. They might be able to help.

ya ill give that a try, thanks. I live across the road from UNSW. I have been to their gym, and once asked one of their trainers to help me out and he was utter crap. Maybe I should phone and ask specifically for an exercise physiologist.

I’ve been looking into learning the o-lifts as well.

From that, it seems your best bet would be checking out your local PCYC or the closest club that’s listed there.

As far as I know, the NSW Olympic Lifting Coach resides in Burwood PCYC.

I’ll probably look into Burwood when my current membership runs out.

BTW, does anyone know of any powerlifting-focused gyms in Sydney?
