Just wondering what sort of weights you hardcores are lifting at the moment.

Ive just started lifting properly after some injuries etc so i will start:

    Currently i am lifting:

    Bench Press: 90kg

Deadlifts:- (I have a bad back) 75 kg

    Bent Over Rows: 70kg

    Barbell Curls: 40-45kg

    Squats: 70kg

Thats the basics i guess πŸ™‚

Yes im weak i know hehehe

dont expect replies str8 away on this forum.

Edit: would be a good idea to put the reps information in. you could be benching 90kgs 20 times…

now I’m down a bit in strength as i just come back after a few months lay off, but I was doing
    Squat 150kg
    Row 80kg
    Dead 140kg
    can’t remember bench

    Before injuring my knee hiking:

150kg Dead (no weights left at home to go higher)
    Squat: 120 for 6
    Bench: 75kg
    Row: 100kg

Have a screwed shoulder for about 5 years so that explains the poor benching performance, that and I am a long armed weakling.

    bizarre variation.

    bench 85kg
    squat 90kg
    overhead press 50kg

    i cant curl shit ..

Ive been lowering cals into a deficet over 4-5weeks to ditch some flab so ive lost some strength but as of now im…

deadlift 165kgs 8times (180kgs in previous post was my peak best)
    flatbench 95kgs x 6
    squat 120 x 20 (thighs paralell)
    bb curl 57kgs x 6
    skullz 50kgs x 5

Bench – no idea haven’t benched in ages but bodyweight Gironda Dips up to 4 sets of 10.

    SLDL over 140kg.

Squat to parallel – almost at 100kg for 10 x 3 with 30 sec rest.

And that’s with dodgy knees and a degenerated L5/S1.

Rows are tricky ’cause it’s so easy to cheat. Even with the supported t-bar row you can move a lot more weight if you let your chest come off the support.

    Thanks guys.

Good to get an idea of how im going.

It feels a little like comparing dick sizes but I’ll add my 2 cents. Only really concentrate on adding weight to the bench. Personal best is 2 x 140kg with no spotter. Only done it once. Now have a shoulder impingement so I don’t see myself doing it again any time soon.

I also will throw in my 2 cents ( thats 4cents already!! )

Keep a training diary and compare yourself to yourself, thats THE only thing you should be giving a shit about.

Like Kinetic said, we might as well talk about our dicks as brag about how much weight we can shift ………a few kilos here, a few inches there, its all good!

Just quietly, Ive got a 300KG bench and a cock the size of a paint roller! πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€

Yes i get what you guys are saying but its just nice to get some sort of idea to see how your going compared with other people who are training.

Most of us would keep a training diary anyways just nice to see what sort of weights the people you talk to are punching out πŸ™‚

i find when rowing (bent over rows) there’s only so far i can lean over before i lose balance, whats the correct techique.

dr j, i also noticed supported rows are easier as soon as ur chest leaves the padding a little – what extra muscles are helping you cheat here ?

    All for 6 reps

    Flat bench – 115kgs

    I’m 6’2″ and weigh in at 106kgs.
