    Hi all,
I was wondering whether the protein concentration in eggs changes significantly when it’s raw as opposed to raw egg.
This would help me in deciding whether to gag on a raw egg or just cook the damn thing.
    Thanks guys,

    Cook it. Always cook it.

The digestability of egg protein is improved by cooking as far as I know.

    Kills the salmonella too.

I believe so too and scrambling may do the best job. Pretty gentle and quick way to cook ’em if you do it right.

Thanks for the replies. I made a dumb typing error in the original message. 😳
Just for interest. Someone taught me to microwave raw eggs as a quick method of cooking them. I would not recommend it to anyone who has never tried it because it sometimes pops inside the microwave and splatters everywhere.
Oh Yeah! Nearly forgot to mention to all that haven’t heard: Eggs have received the red tick from the Heart Association! some have said that there have been no correlation between the amount of eggs eaten and the incidence/risk of heart attack. Even though eggs have cholesterol, they say that its the saturated fatty acids that count in influencing heart disease.

Most deadly of the lot are the artificially saturated trans fats or ‘hydrogenated vegetable oils’. You’ll find them in a lot of fast foods and processed stuff.
