    Can some one help….my quads are over developed for my hammies….i need some exercises to inject some life into them!! The same for calves. Is it recommended to train hammies seperate from quads?

    Try the routines by Charly Poliquin at T-Mag;

    He has always advocated his own style exercises in this area, with his feet up/feet down toggling method. His program is a 2 part special, so lighten up on a few other exercises and give these priority for the training period in his outline. Should work just fine. DA

    For calves you could try toe presses in the leg press machine.

    Choose a weight you can do about 20 reps with on the first set. 1 min breaks and do 5 sets. Aim to increase reps each time you do the workout and up the weight every time total reps hit 100.

    This is real simple stuff but it’s almost impossible not to keep improving number of reps (and hence weight) every workout.

    train your hammies first before quads, add some lunges instead of leg press or if you are leg pressing place your feet a little higher this should hit the hammies more 😉 I found stiff legged deadlifts brought mine up!
