    Hi,

Does anyone know any killer routines for bisceps or arms?

I have pretty long arms and its always been a problem area for me. I read somewhere on this forum that the trick is high weight less reps?? with combinations??

3 sets barbell curls supersetted with 3 sets skull crushers, works for me.
    Cheers

    Yup !
But I adapted the same workout structure to other plateaued and undeveloped areas to start building a better all round body. Its very interesting working out what exercises can be done as Negs on some bodyparts. DA

Sure, heavy pull-ups, chins, rows, bench & weighted dips will get the job done nicely.

Barbell curls & skullcrushers wont develop a significant amount of mass (they are more isolation exercises) the compounds listed above will yield significant hypertrophy in the arms.

Sure it will, but not just immediately. The reason is the more normal Concentrics you do in the next workout are the chance for the muscle group to grow and not just develop strength (as in the Negs part). Over a number of weeks (Charles P said 5-6 weeks I think), they will grow alright. Dont forget this is Charlies best guidance for people with plateau probs. Hence I thought to aim it at a few other places as well. DA

I’m still finding that my arm development is slow or even nil. I can see noticable increase in my shoulders and traps and a little in my quads along with general trunk development, but I feel my arms just are not getting there

    What has worked for you?
