Just a post for everyone here, I know for a fact that I have had great benifits from this website alone.

Talks greatly about training frequency and training in general, form etc, although many people believe they are not getting enough protien blah blah blah for their gains, so i’m posting this here!

I have just ordered the new book from Stuart McRobert (have not recieved it yet but can hardly wait!)

Check it out, I’m glad i’ve found it.

Ian, I’m disappointed with you. If you spent time looking through the books advertised in the back 3 pages of the bodybuilding mags then you’d know Stuart McRobert.

He’s a big lumberjack guy (if I remember the photo correctly) who writes bodybuilding books. Brawn, Beyond Brawn and Further Brawn are all his.

Apart from that, I’ve never heard of him either. πŸ˜€

I dont know, but i suspect hes another guy trying to make a buck of unsuspecting victims, how can you trust someone that only has pictures of muscley cartoon characters on his site. Dr John Berardi will eat him for breakfast :).

It’s all good mate. I’m just cursed with a good memory and there was a time when I read those things from cover to cover.

Went looking for a photo of the guy though and he has been pretty good at staying invisible. I have a memory of a monster in a black and red flannel shirt sitting on a log. It was definitely associated with his books but it may not have been the man himself. This is going back to about 94-5.

smt-007, This guy was writing books when Berardi was in primary school, not that that means anything but I think the books must be good albeit with a less scientific basis than is the fashion at present.

Having a browse throught the net i found one of his workout routines in the book, looks simple but they are the good compound lifts.

Monday: One set of Squats followed by a set Bent Over Rows and a set of Pullups

Thursday: One set of Deadlifts, a set of Overhead Presses and a set of Dips.

Throw in some ab work and some grip work and that’s it.

Yeah, yeah, I can definatly understand your suspiscions. The world of Bodybuilding is 99% full of crap!

Although I’m not one for crap and am looking at this from a wide range of testomonials and word of mouths. This guy, although he hasn’t got pictures (yet there is reason for that – mainly not wanting the focus on only his body and his achievements blah blah) comes with high recommendations from almost everyone who has heard of him (by the way he’s been into bodybuilding for some 30 years)

I have joined the Round Table discussion forum and found it quite interesting and useful.

Still waiting for his book though! Hopefully Monday! πŸ™
