I guess you’ve got to ask yourself why you’re dieting like this?

If it’s to get stronger then that’s what the focus should be on. If you’re not getting stronger then have a good look at bodyweight and composition.

If it’s to add muscle you really need to calculate bodyfat. People tend not to do this because it can be frustrating and disappointing. Your weight shoots up and you go, awesome, you do some bodyfat calcs and you find that less than half was muscle!

It’s worth doing the maths sometimes. A 95kg dude at 15% who wants to cut his bodyfat in half is going to be 86kg if he doesn’t lose a gram of muscle.
