the too tall argument is a pretty lame excuse for not squatting. Being tall means you can carry more muscle and therefore have potential to generate more force. Jon Pall Sig and Kaz are exmples of tall men with big squats. Oz lifter Terry Lonsdale was a tall bloke with 330kg+ squat.
I once saw a 6ft5″ thrower and part time lacrosse player squat deep for three reps on 300kg. Can you imagine someone like that running at you?
