Wayne, Your first problem is that you are on the wrong bike mate. You need a Gixxer. 😉 I had an old one years ago.

Seriously now, as a beginner, I think it’s a good idea to have a fairly clean diet but not a cutting diet. What I mean is good food 3 or 4 times a day and limit rubbish (like ice cream) to smaller serves and not often.

What this will do is ensure that you are getting enough good calories to keep your body firing and building muscle. A couple of kilos of extra muscle will burn more calories that all the dieting and exercise ever will.

As for breaking a diet, it has never done as much damage as you think it has. You just have to get back on track straight away and not let a couple of beers turn into a whole weekend of eating crap.
