I couldn’t agree more with Bull’s post.

The best way to lose body fat and keep it off permanently is by raising your metabolism and keeping it firing. The only way to do that is by maintaining your muscle mass. (i.e training hard) and eating a properly set out diet.

Too many people get over eager in their qwest to lose bodyfat and drastically cut calories and they back themselves into a corner nutritionally speaking. (You can keep cutting calories but then what?….) Then they add hours of cardio ontop of that and they just end up going in circles…burning off muscle and ultimately flushing their metabolic rate down the toilet.

First place to start will be your diet. If your diet is off, no amount of cardio will save you.
