Well Dr J, My design is based on the Elite Model shown off by Dave Tate some while ago in the T-Mag articles. He said so much about it, including how to exercise on it, I just had to have one.
The shape is similar to this;
at least the curve where the knees go. My machine won’t allow Hyperextensions as well, just the basic Ham/Glute movement.
I must say that when I first started, I couldn’t even do 1x concentric movement, and not to many Negs either. Now though, at the last count I manage 5x concentrics and around 12x negs. No added weight. DA
