If you are thinking about seriously getting into it you should start learning about periodisation for strength training and have someone go through the biomechanics of the 3 lifts for you (or learn about it yourself and practice at it).

The program i sent you awhile ago is a periodisation program and will assist your one rep max’s. You will also most definately have to have a PL show you how to train and how to do the lifts. Give me a few days and I will get a number and name for you for someone down in Adelaide….and it won’t be Frysie! lol!
