No. You probably already are.

In my opinion, when you get to those weights, progress is mostly mental. I have only ever used a planned progression once for a couple of months, 5×5. All the rest of my training life I have just thrown another 5kg each side when I felt like it. In my experience, if you can do another 2.5kgs then you can do another 10.

I’d be willing to bet you that when you smash 170 in a few days, you could jump to 180 and wouldn’t know the difference.

Like most machines, the weak link is the computer that runs things. 😉
