If your having balance problems then you are doing it incorrectly. The method that will throw you out is more for posterior deltoid development.

If you are strictly targeting the back which is where you will get your heaviest lift, then you are in a starting position for a squat. You then lift the weight as if you are trying to touch your shoulder blades together.

Simple, yet very effective. 🙂
