The proof is always in the pudding.

If you’re gaining strength then the current approach is working for increasing strength.

Nothing wrong with alternating hypertrophy/strength cycles. When you go back to your hypertrophy program you should be able to use heavier weights and stimulate more muscle growth.

Stick with this program as long as strength increases then switch back to more volume.
