Westside barbell in the USA use techniques that bring up their Bench until they are optimized in all the muscles associated to benching, including the synergist muscles.

When you find a weakness in an exercise, it is most prob’ a smaller muscle set that is not easy to define and work on, so you are left with having to go all round the support exercises associated to the Bench, to cure the weak area.

It could be a simple thing like the middle of the Lats not being developed enough, or the front delts, etc. DA
