i would say cardio would be yur best bet for fat loss, that plus eating healthy foods…

the amount of calories you take in is all relative to the person, i.e. 1200 isnt the magic number for everyone.

i have read that brocoli and some fruits like strawberries actually take more calories to digest than what they actually give you so in a sense they burn calories just like exercise…

the other advice i could give you is to keep active, try and break your meals up into more than the average 3 or 4… for breakfast oats are good… if you are eating more often your metabolic rate should increase and the effort of your digestive system will be prolonged throughout the entire day, again burning more calories…
